This development consists of 2 projects being executed simultaneously, being a new 175km Inter City Express (ICE) rail with 11 new stations between CTIA and Velddrif at an estimated budget value of US$ 10 Billion, and a new CATegory 10 (ICAO) international airport with 4 new terminal buildings and 1 existing plus 3 new runways with an estimated budget value US$ 15 Billion, rendering a total CAPEX expenditure in 4 phases over a 20 year period amounting to US$ 25 Billion.
